Killer sudoku without numbers. How to play?
At this level of difficulty, the game board is completely empty. During the game, you need to fill in all 81 cells with numbers. The sums of the numbers within groups are known (the number in the upper left corner of the group). Each group of numbers is highlighted on the board with a dashed line of a certain color. Note that groups can intersect with each other.
Here are a few ideas on how to play sudoku without numbers:
- Start assumptions with groups that have 2 cells.
- Use the note mode for assumptions.
- Pay attention to groups where the sum is minimal. For example, if the sum is 4 and there are 2 cells in the group, these cells can only take values 3 and 1.
- Don't forget to check for groups of cells with large sums. For instance, if a group consists of two cells and the sum is 17, they can only take values 7 and 9.
- Try to uncover all numbers in one 3x3 square; don't attempt to guess numbers simultaneously in different parts of the board.
